While doing visial level upgrades for the player characters in Darkest Dungeon would require Red Hook artist Chris Bourassa to create over 700+ pieces of new artwork, I do think level variations for the bosses is feasible, as it would require "only" 100 new pieces of art (and include the 50 pieces already done as one of the levels. OK, so I was thinking about this last night and had some time to execute it today, so here are some ideas for a visual differentiation between the various seine bosses (Prince / King / God).
